The fact of the matter is that Paul has a long history of opposing all bills that require new spending and do not have a pay for, including the tax cuts. This is all bulls**t hysteria by the left as the bill will pass next week with all the funding, of course the bill is somewhat reckless as it is for 72 years and has no spending caps or efficiency review system attached, typical DC bulls**t.

Paul will get his v**e on his amendment, the amendment will be v**ed down and then the bill will go to the floor where it will gain bipartisan support and be passed with a large majority, it has cost the beneficiaries of the fund nothing as the fund still has a couple of billion dollars in it.

Rand is only calling attention to the exorbitant deficits and Washington's refusal to deal with them in any manner.

Now I have a problem with democrats who know nothing running off at the mouth and that includes people like big fish and Frank and especially includes Aussies who don't know s**t about US politics but feel that they should have a say.

Includes the most recent statements from Jon Stewart also, he has been a real trooper in his efforts but he went off the rails the other day because he too don't know jack.

Despite the delay, the bill will be passed in August. By not passing by unanimous consent, it merely delayed implementation by a short period of time. Rand brought up a good question. He knew it would not stop the passage of the bill. It had to do with how it would be passed but it allowed him to make a point about runaway spending of any kind. With the debt of this country, where would the money come from to pay for this? What cuts would offset these payments? What income would offset them? Or...do we just give Congress a blank check to spend money willy nilly? Point being made, the bill will pass. No first responders will fail to get the aid they need because it was delayed a month because there is still sufficient money in the fund.

BTW....Rand is but one voice in Congress. Alone he cannot do anything. His voice, however, like all others, can be heard. As this thread attests, it was.

Apples and oranges Dave and you know it. Stating that Trump has lied does not mean he lies all the time yet that is what you are trying to portray.

But getting to the point of the thread, isn't what Elaine said absolutely true, that Rand Paul only wants to have a discussion on what the monetary outcome will be? Looking at it from that point of view isn't the entire thread a lie spoken by the OP, a L*****t? Can you not even admit that sometimes the Left lies?

You continue to tell us about your Republican posts and offices and so on, how you are/were a proud Republican. But when the chips are down and your Republican support is needed for the Party you fold like a camp chair and have never, not one time, brought up anything against the Left, their lies, their Socialist agenda, the four dumb ass Congresswomen who h**e America and use their positions in Congress against the America you fought for while in the USMC. Somehow Dave you do not sound like a Republican or a Conservative to me. You may tell us you are a Republican but in your actions you come across as a L*****t Socialist leaning Democrat. Sorry but that is the way it is.
