This is what I've done so far.
I'm having a problem attaching the file. I'll try again.
I had to resize it smaller to upload it. Is there a maximum size that can be uploaded?
More contrast was good but overdone around the nose with pp.

looks over done. Kind of cartoonish. The first attempt was decent but the coloring from the nose down looks discolored.
I like the tone mapping effect.

Here is my attempt. I am not a portrait photographer, I took this on as a challenge. I hope some of the really good guys step up and show us how to do it.
