We,too were fortunate to catch the super bloom! It was spectacular. My phone didn’t really capture it to my liking.
Your photo is amazing!
sometimes I feel like stepping out
One of my favorites. There are many. This is what's called a "common loon," which many will recognize but not all. They interest me.
I like this one. But I can't say I think it's the "best" one this year.
One of my favorites from the coookoff weekend at the 2019 Humble Rodeo

What do YOU think is the very best photograph, you've taken, so far - in 2019? … You know - the one you are so very delighted with - you are considering blowing it up to plaster a wall with it … any takers??
So far, I'll pick this one: Location: near Chivay Peru', elevation; 4,950 meters. Shot from a moving tour bus.
Details:Nikon D3500 F/8, 1/500 sec., 122 mm, A.4.5.

Scrolling the page, I saw, and read, just the text
before the image came into view. My initial thought
was "Someone's BEST shot is from a moving tour
bus ? His standards must be rather low." A quite
reasonable thought, in itself, cuz ... well ... moving
vehicle, bus window glass, shot in a hurry, etc.
And then .... AND THEN .... your picture scrolled up
into view and my NEW initial thought was "Yowza !
He got THAT under such adverse conditions ?" I tip
my fedora to you ! Good job :-)
