Just scaning this post before heading out to work,
so I'm not posting anything myself at the moment.
But it appears to me that Chris has developed a
serious credibility problem. ..........
A
"credibility problem" ?
You mean like Santa Claus, unicorns,
or politicians ?
I find that to be a thing of beauty.

I'm not sure what this Face-off has degenerated into, but I believe it has run its course.
Marshall
leave it and make it your own course
we are having some fun again@@@
I'm curious as to how you got this shot? Settings, lens, etc. It looks painterly. Very cool shot.

Very cool shot.
"You talkin to ME ?"I'd handed the camera to a chimp, and
he erased the exif and refused to share
any info with me. Considering the level
of post involved, I take full credit for it.
Well, OK, 96% credit, but then I round
it off, to 100% :-)

I shot this with my Canon 70d, mounted on a tripod using a 18-55 with a Hoya Pro ND Filter. I was playing around with different shutter speeds and am not completely sure of the settings as it was raining very hard. I had shot another similar shot last year back in Texas with a crane in front of a waterfall. When they are fishing and you are lucky, you can get decent results. I like the composition, just wish I had better command of the focus. I am still at the beginning stage of one of my hobbies.
This is just a favorite from early this year. Our white cat, Olaf, blends in nicely in the snow. He saw me as I was looking for some good shots of birds and i snapped some quick pics of him as he hurried over. Hesitated to post in with all these amazing photos but decided to share it. Always working on becoming a better photographer. Learning and practice often. Thanks.
Nice shot, put some black spots on him and you can have your own snow leopard

So cute ! Lovely picture of her, nice close up.
I've enjoyed shooting our little resident Anna's hummingbird this summer. She's been a very cooperative poser!
