A cute little Photographer, she's doing a great job!!! I've tried to get my kids/grandkids interested, they either aren't into it, or it's OK with their phone, "just please don't make it complicated Dad/Grandpa", and I don't want to lug "that" around. Good job on your part!!!
The leaves do look like a Maple sub-species, similar to our Red Maples here in Fla. The bark is different...be interesting to find out.
