This is a collection of what I see in my back yard; it is a small sampling. My little girl is learning to love what she can do with a Nikon D200 camera, and I do wish someone could identify this tree for me. All of these are taken with a Nikon D750 and Sigma 150-600 lens and are all handheld. There is absolutely no Post Processing and are all SOOC.

After having surgery on my elbow, arm and hand; I'm surprised I can even hold the camera and lens. Thanks for looking!

The app “Seek” can help you identify species for plants, animals and fungi. Just point your cellphone camera or import a photo to get identifications

Love the pic of your granddaughter. I bought my 10 yr old granddaughter a canon compact last year. She had only taken pics with her iphone, and she was absolutely amazed with the zoom capability of the canon. It opened up a whole new world of photography for her.. Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad to hear that! There were several people who helped when I was learning. I feel that i owe to them to keep up the tradition.

This is a maple tree. It may be a sugar maple. Do a search for leaf shape of ID.

I think the tree is a silver maple; it often has several large trunks from the main trunk, with shaggy bark.
