I use a unit made for gun cabinets. it contains silica gel and can be plugged n the wall to recharge. These are greedily available at places like Cabella's

Here in Florida, for extender periods in house, I keep cameras/lenses in sealable storage baggies - A friend of mine uses large silica in his baggies that he dries out in an oven monthly. In car, kept in large sealable insulated/padded bags or sometimes in an insulated cooler.
