Descendants of s***es have no claim to anything, while Native Americans still living on reservations are still waiting for their part of the agreement for giving up their land.

I am one quarter Creek Indian and my ancestors were forcibly and brutally removed from the game rich forests and lush farm land of their homes in Alabama and Georgia to the barrenness of Oklahoma. Some government r********ns were made to the tribe in the 50's and "divvied" among those listed on the Dawes roll, and their descendants. That was when I was a child, so I didn't get any of that largess.

However, neither was I a victim of those atrocities, so why should I be compensated for having sustained no loss. I have had the same opportunities as anyone of my age group. I was educated in public schools in Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to college on the GI bill (mostly),and have the same opportunity to use the rather pathetic healthcare offered to other veterans at V.A. hospitals. Fortunately I don't need to and I am very sorry for others who have no options.

In short, I am nobody special and I neither expect nor deserve special treatment. I suggest that everyone make their own way with the sweat of their own brow and the abilities of their own intellect. It's a lot surer way to a good life than depending on government handouts. I'm 73 years old and nobody owes me anything. Neither do I owe anyone anything except wh**ever respect they earn through their own actions.

B****s were freed after the Civil War. That means they have had 150 years to get into the mainstream of America and find jobs, get educated, and so on. While I am not saying it has been easy there are millions of black families who have moved on after the war and have bettered themselves. I venture to say there is not one black family in the past 75 years who has been held back because their ancestors MIGHT have been s***es. Time moves on and we all have to work to better ourselves. We cannot expect the government to t***sfer money to us because we had a bad wh**ever in our lives.

Make the right decision Frank. Millions of people are depending upon YOU.
