Do you really believe the US is a planet unto itself and that it neither depends on, nor influences, other countries in this world? You can't have it both ways, you know. I don't expect Canada, the UK, France or Germany, etc, to take on the role of Leader of the Free World, but when you are #1 there is only one way to go. Regrettably, Trump is making it happen faster than anyone expected.
