A few days ago my step father passed on at age 105 Years and 4 Months. He may have had physical difficulties but his mind was still sharp. He was an amazing man.

So sorry for your loss. God Bless him.

I'm seeing some slow down in the last few months and now the younger photographers (my sons age) are keeping up. I'm 87 and not hard to get down but hard to get up.

Age is between the ears and not on a calendar. I am 87, not cancer free, but that is the last thing on my mind. Enjoying photography and being active and letting Mother Nature do her thing.

Hell, I'm 87 next October. Don't listen to the Doctors, they'll make you sick. My knees are working fine, play darts 4 times a week, go dancing each Saturday night, after our group has a great meal. I exorcize a little, but stay active. Don't get overweight, smoke, drink too much (I love a beer) and you'll make it.
Keep a great outlook on life, be satisfied with what you have.

My Mother passed at 92,,,She always said "Don't go to the Doctors, they will just find Something wrong with You !" You can control Mentally getting old and to a certain extent Physically,,,Think Positive, Eat right, Exercise, Don't Smoke or Drink, just have Fun....I have had good luck with eye and ear doctors and had three hernias repaired, but I do not trust Cancer Doctors or Heart Doctors two of the leading causes of Death in the US along with Medical Errors....Lifestyle changes would solve a lot of Folks Medical Problems...

Very true, it's just a question of mind over matter.......If you don't mind it don't matter.

My son is 69, but I pretend he is 49 so I can pretend I'm 72. So far it is working.

Middle Ages were the days of plague.
I’m 67, some think I’m early 50’s. They all have the same opinion, that I’m just some crazy old guy!
At my age indeed. If they knew what it actually is they would still give the same advice!

The famous Scottish comedian Billy Connolly said that his doctor explained it. He said,
"At 60, my doc lost all concern for me testicles and developed an overwhelming interest in me arsehole!"

When I turned 69 I joked that 69 was my favorite number. But now, at 71, I can't remember why.

At your age, "69" is about all that is left!

Being a couple months short of 80, I can assure you that, while 69 is an important age, it is not all there is.

However I will say that in youth, “the pill” was important to the girls. With more advanced age “the pill” is now more important to the boys. Of course it’s a different pill, acting as an enabler rather than a disabler.

Tried that one a few years back. It sent all my blood to my little buddy and cratered my blood pressure. I felt faint.

First of all I believe at 69 I am somewhere near the middle of the pack age wise. Beginning about 6 months age almost all of my doctors have started answer to my question with, "At your age...". I don't feel old, but I also realize parts (knees, hip, shoulder) are starting to wear. Isn't there a better way to say, "Your becoming an old geezer." On the other hand entering "geezerhood" has an advantage, I can do most anything I want and it will be blown off with, "He's just an old geezer", while I'm going"GOT CHA!!"

Ok, the end.

Jimmy Buffet line. "In a Bourbon Street bar, I recieved my first scar, from an old man so tattered and torn".
Age depends on when you were born, that's all.
Bill, too, at 72
