I have these old photos of my parents from I’m guessing around 1953. It looks like they came out of one of those photo booths, but I don’t know if they were around then. What I’m trying to do is just clean them up a bit. Capture Nx2 doesn’t recognize this format so I can’t use that, any suggestions.
Thanks
Swede

Capture NX2 will recognize all current digital image formats. What format have you scanned them in?

Swede, recently I "cleaned up" a family photo of my grandparents, that was damaged a lot worse than these two. I used PSE9 to do that.
I won't have time for a week or so (will get three of the grandkids here, for an "end-of-the-holidays-fling"), but after that I'd be happy to do some clean-up on these photos for you.

I ran your mom quickly through PS Elements 10's magic eraser. Then I used Topaz DeNoise and InFocus. Not perfect, but I think better.

Wow! For a quick run through, I think that is amazing! Good job. I really need to learn how to do post production. Right now, I do zero. Cheers.

I'll do it as soon as I figure out how, the reward has just gone up from some to a bunch.

Not sure about the invalid color format but if it's a jpeg file you should have no problem. Great work from some other UHH'ers.
