Perhaps the OP insists on f/1.4 or maybe he
simply believes that ALL the available "super
normals" are built as f/1.4. So maybe this a
a bit of news only for others reading here, if
those others are rather budget constrained,
but anywho ......

There is an excellent "Junior Super Normal"
distagon-type lens from Tamron: 45/1.8 SP
which also happens to include excellent OIS.
Officially $600, but sometimes $400 on sale.

Originally bought one for Nikon, no great
expectations optically but wanting an OIS
normal lens .... which Nikon doesn't offer.
After discovering its great optics, I bought
another one, in EF mount.

To wit ....

Very nice quality stopped down from f/6.2 to f/11, but you show no images wide open so we can see the sharpness or distortion across the image at the widest aperture, or the bokeh (the quality of the background blur). It also looks like you may have applied additional sharpening in post processing. At it's price point, the Tamron is a very good FF prime lens with the added bonus of image stabilization and weather sealing. But, the Sigma 35 f/1.4 ART is significantly sharper wide open and sharper across the entire frame, with better bokeh, better light transmission, and a thinner DoF than your Tamron f/1.8. This in no way puts your lens in a negative light, but merely indicates the advantages of the bigger, heavier, and more expensive Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART.

That is a very fine lens but it's manual focus only. For those requiring AF, the Sigma is obvious the better choice of the two.

No doubt it is the best autofocus lens in that focal length range.
