I ordered the Canon 17-40 f4 because it was on sale from $800 to $500 at BnH. Received a text that it had been delivered yesterday, but I was at home and so I knew it wasn't. Called BnH and Fedex and reported it. About an hour later the driver comes to the house with the package.
Last month it was something else they dropped off at a wrong address. But don't remember what.
A couple of years ago they delivered an Apple MacBook Pro to an address in another town.
I think I am done with them.
Anyone else having issues with them?

Sometimes you have no choice when you buy something unless they let you select USPS .i.e cheap and slow. The don't let you select FedEx or UPS.

Yes. That's why pencils have erasers.
I've never ha an issue with them.
If I know I have something being delivered by FedEx, I call FedEx and have it held at a local FedEx store and go pick it up. The local store will hold it for 5 days.
I believe it depends on where you live if there is problems or not
Just placed a claim with FedEx. I shipped out a lens May 1st to MPB.com and they still haven't received it. FedEx picked up the box from me, I have video and pictures of the driver and they still can't get this resolved.
Expensive camera shipment requiring signature was left on my front step and driver indicated that I had signed for it. Luckily I was home and was periodically checking for the delivery.

I ordered some lens hoods and filters about six weeks ago from B&H with Fed-Ex. I was watching the tracking and it seemed to be hung up in Hagerstown, MD for about seven days. Finally Fed-Ex tracking admitted that the package was smashed and un-deliverable. They did not move very fast on reporting it. Fortunately B&H sent out a replacement package quickly after I (not Fed-Ex) notified them of the loss in-transit.
Oh, that we all are as perfect as we want FedEx to be. Sort of like this message I copied. It is the second message that was a duplicate of the first. So, we complain that someone makes a mistake, and we make one in the complaint. Yes, there was only one perfect Man. And he went to heaven where he resides today!

There's the fly in the ointment around here. Watching the tracking stop points sometimes I see my packages travel through all sorts of out of the way places and even one time saw it spend the night in a residential area after going down the street one block away past my address. Also I don't pay much attention to the note, "will be delivered by 8 p.m.". Sometimes the tracking info will just stop at random times in the evening. One occasion I walked out when the tracking info showed the package was out front of this building to find a personal vehicle driver unloading packages onto the sidewalk. I watched until she started putting them back and walked over to where she was. She was muttering something along the lines, "it was here when I left". Anyway - long story short - Amazon sent another item at a higher price because the first item was the last in their inventory of that item. They did credit my account for $20 to be applied to a later purchase after I complained...

Same here. I use both FedEx and UPS and can't recall having any problems with either in a long time. Dozens of deliveries by both.
I have an account with FedEx. It's free, easy, and only requires a visit to their website. In addition to tracking it allows you to set up alternate delivery addresses, receive phone calls or text messages when a package is enroute and when it has been delivered. You can even give the driver specific directions about delivery. At one point I wondered why the driver kept leaving packages next to my garage. Then I checked my account and realized I never changed a one-time set of directions I had left. Now he leaves the packages on the porch, as always.
Without fail I will receive a robocall within 15 minutes of a delivery.
Maybe we just live in an area with good service.
I didn't have problem with FedEx yet but if I buy from B&H or Adorama I don't think I have a choice.
FYI: even if you mention or add with the order that a signature is required, make sure you specify that the residential of the home whom order the package authorized the signature. In other words, if Fedex sees that there is a signature is required, they can stop anyone on your street nearest to you home and get a signature even if this person doesn't have your permission. so if there's a box within the order to add delivery notes best make it clear to whom can sign for these package. otherwise have the package delivered to the local fedex store for pickup.
