Because Putin knows that Trump is a narcissistic clown that can be manipulated with flattery and false bravado.
Putin has been a part of turning this country upside down with the e******n of Trump, and the d******eness that has simmered and grown like a cancer. The United States is destroying itself under Trump’s leadership; and Putin is giddy.
Because Trump is too proud, and stupid, to even acknowledge what his good buddy has done; nothing will prevent Putin from getting what he wants again in 2020.

Your argument is strange. Only you and Trump will not acknowledge that Putin worked toward the goal of making Trump president rather than Hillary. That is now a given, supported by every intelligence agency in the country and the Mueller report.
