Digital zoom is a scam, whatever form or under what name it comes. Its no different from cropping in post.

I forgot about Saturdays and holidays...I should get my lens and accessories Thursday...plenty of time to practice for Oshkosh! Is it easy to micro-adjust a camera/lens combo? I've never done it, but maybe I should have.

Maybe you should try it before you condemn it ...it does not matter how you name it - it works - quite WELL actually ! There are many things in the future that will be controlled by AI - best to get used to it !
