Adding backgrounds to images

I love playing with my images and adding backgrounds to them. I add backgrounds to flowers, animals, and fruits/veggies, to whatever I think will be fun and will work in the end to create a pleasing image. Posting for reviewing only, no changes please, but comments are welcome. I'm still figuring things out using mostly PS now but do use some preset filters as well. I'm trying to learn all about the brush tool and its uses in PS to create original designs. I use Flypaper textures a lot and also take background images where ever I go.

Thank you for sharing these, Connie! The eggplant makes a very cool subject and I love the contrast of those colors, just as I love the contrasts of your yellow-orange and blue in #3. I also very much like the contrast of rough peeling paint as background for the perfect blossom. You have a great creative sensibility and I know you can teach us a lot in that area. Other folks here will be happy to help with any technical questions you might have.

For those looking to start a folder of textures or add to what they have, Fstop12 just posted a link to photos he shot specifically for this use, and has offered to us:

One can never have too many texture files IMO
