I don't think the content is worth it unless you are a beginner.

Well, I finally gave up on Outdoor Photography because of their persistent and constant solicitation to purchase something they were selling. I would receive multiple e-mails daily, never content filled, just solicitations. Got real tired of it...and found free information on the internet that filled my interest. Just my experience...others may differ.
I subscribe on my Kindle and enjoy it
It's sad how so many photography magazines are folding because of the internet. It was unbelievable when c't digital photography folded. It was the highest quality photography magazine in my opinion. These are the ones I know about that folded. Are there others?

I am a subscriber to the printed version of Outdoor Photographer. I have learned a lot from reading it and since I have been shooting digital only since 2012, I appreciate the articles - in the main. At this point I classify myself as a relatively advanced amateur and while I agree about the imbalance of ads versus articles, I am still going to renew my subscription.
OP is offering three different on-line options probably for more in-depth information than OP is currently able to offer in its hard copy publication. I think the Original Poster is asking about the on-line offerings that currently include a 30% discount. The three levels run $2.99 to 4.99 per month or also a discounted annual payment offering.
I decided not to opt for this offering at this time. I agree the magazine has shrunk significantly. Missing is the ad revenue that large retailers once provided, but do not offer now because everyone just goes to the web. Without the ad revenue the publisher just doesn't have the resources to pay for more articles each month.

I let my magazine subscription expire because the mag was getting too thin, (front cover, back cover, no content in between).
Sounds like my local newspaper. I loved that magazine.
Take a look at a British magazine with a similar (if not outright confusing) name -- Outdoor Photography. It is pricey for the print edition, both for a subscription and on news stands if you can find it.
But it's only $2.58 to $3.99 (depending on subscription length) for digital.
It is consistently excellent, imho, with a far better ratio of content to advertising than Outdoor Photographer. The magazine's website is:

https://pocketmags.com/usI believe Amazon has it too, but only for certain platforms, not including the Kindle for PC reader.

I only get Lenswork now. All the other ones rehash the same material that you learned 40 years ago.
Lenswork looks good. I am thinking of subscribing. Maybe I will get the sample bundle.
Thank you
Are you (were you) reading OP on line or. in printed format. I am old fashioned enough to not like reading magazines on my computer - I like the portability of printed media and also don't need another computer. In the three years I have received the print OP, I have never received any solicitations.
