Thanks for posting your topic to PP Forum, bkyser!

Poor little dude had just been circumcised, and was really cranky for the whole shoot.

This was supposed to be the beginning of the "froggy pose" where it is a composite of 2-3 photos to get the cute one with his hands under his chin.

Well, it was just too much bending, and he'd had enough, so I just figured this pose was "out"

Mom's hand was on the "camera left" side of his face, and behind his forearm, so I had to draw in the upper arm and part of his face.

I'll still need to do more fine tuning, but I think this one may be salvageable.

Other than the fact that I need to still reduce the opacity on the shadow layers, any other glaring issues? I'm having a heck of a time working out the shape of his upper arms with the creases and folds. I looked at my own "fat baby" arms to try to figure it out, but figured, his wouldn't be as hairy...lol.

As always, I'm open to any suggestions, this is a personal project for me, as I was going to delete the photo, but his little tough guy face, really made me want to save it somehow.
Poor little dude had just been circumcised, and wa... (show quote)

I like the way his cap sort of matches the bucket. I think I would try to remove the textured sections on his face. To be honest, it makes me think of something out of a Charles Dickens story - but that's not a bad thing!

I think it's a keeper, as it tells a story his mom will relish from now on.

As far as your edit, I think you did a fine job getting rid of mom's hand and the subsequent reconstruction of the baby's upper arm and face (if I understood what you did). It does seem that that shoulder has a green cast that could be removed and make a better shot, IMHO. Otherwise, nice work.

The weirdest thing is that I've seen this image on my calibrated monitor while working on it, and I've seen it on 3 different screens via UHH while checking comments.... Not one of the 3 computers during those times looked the same. In some there's a lot of red and yellow, some green, it's crazy. I thought they would at least look similar.
