We were in the process of declaring NH our legal address. We have owned a home on Lake Winnipesaukee since Carter was in office. The economy tanked and home values had tanked. I think the Prime as almost 20%. We were able to buy a vacation home. We had the home torn down and were in the process of building a new home. The contractor who was doing the rebuild, who has done work on the place for over 20 years was in a bad accident over the winter and is now able to restart. When it is completed we will restart the residency process. The brownstone in the city goes in trust and we will use it and pay the rental fee to the trust when we want a "city fix"
We ski a lot. I have rented a small house last Fall so we could stay up there and hang out. That is the address. Even though we have decided to spend the summer on the Jersey shore I am maintaining the rental as I will be going back and forth until we move into the NH home. I hope this answers your concerns about the legitimacy of my address. In closing, before I retired I paid in the high 40% of my compensation to NYC, NY State, and Federal taxes. That did not include SS and Medicare nor RE Taxes to the city. This is a rather long story but I wanted to make sure this satisfies your high moral concerns about my "legitimate address" and taxes.
Again you made an assumption about addresses and the shipping of purchases. Remember when you make assumptions you and the first three letters of the word are joined.

So after that lengthy response, where is your legal residence? You can only have one.

Well you keep saying you don't pay sales tax. You keep telling us about all the property you own/lease/visit. I am just trying to determine if you should be paying. You seem to be all talk about how bad it is to have to pay so where do you live?

No assumptions here. Just based on your initial statement that you were looking for cooperative retailers to help you avoid paying the sales tax. You have clarified it completely and I have no reason to believe otherwise. Remember there are many reading this thread who may be tempted to actually c***t if they can.

And yes, I do see this as a moral position more than a legalistic one. I don’t blame anyone for taking advantage of loopholes and tax avoidance strategies to minimize their taxes. Those policies are in place for some public purpose. If we think they’re poor, then we need to take it up with our politicians.

Why would you think it matters to me what you ask?? It's kinda lame to think it warrants an answer just because you asked.
It's not up to you to determine anything. You are nobody to me.

OH. So glad everything is clarified for you. That is a terrific weight that has been removed from my shoulders. At last a good nights sleep. I am going to say goodbye.

Glad I could help your sleep pattern. Although since your conscience was already clear, maybe something else was bothering you?

So you are a tax-c***ting blowhard trying to impress us with all your residence who obviously does care what we have to say otherwise you would not keep responding. But I will let you off the hook. No need to respond anymore, we all know what you are. Goodnight.

I would say that after you wrote the clear as mud tome a few posts back...that it would seem you care...that it mattered enough to attempt to brag but not enough to be clear or answer.

LoL

You fit right in here!
