No, that is not true. Many have chosen not to follow violations of US I*********n L*ws. Theirs is a cafeteria form of legal concurrence. They will have a lot of that, no just a little of that perhaps some of this no...no none of that. Then they talk about how wrong you are and the morality of things that you should do.

You made an assumption I am breaking the law. "C***ting on my taxes" And you bring in "morality" wow! You somehow glanced over the morality of those who violate US laws. I don't know jack $hit about you but I'm getting the impression you are very judgemental and seem to think your use of words like " c***t, fraud" and now morality puts you in self-righteous position to lecture,
Oh by the by when you make; assumptions you inherit the first three letters of the word. I think this has run its course. Let me know if ever you are in the Laks Region.
You made an assumption I am breaking the law. &quo... (show quote)

If you aren't paying you legally obligated sales taxes, then you are breaking the law. So, yes or no, are you breaking the law?

What others do or do not do is not the issue. We do not get to pick and choose which laws we wish to follow. If you do not follow the law then you are breaking the law. Simple. Morality has nothing to do with it.

Sounds like civil disobedience. The thing with civil disobedience though, is that you must be prepared to accept the penalty or punishment that results. To civil rights or war protesters who broke laws they considered immoral, spending time in jail was a badge of honor.

As much as you are. If you buy something you pay taxes. What I buy on the internet I have it shipped to my address in NH. No sales tax.

Does NH have sales tax? I do keep track of all my out if state purchases and do pay my required Sales tax. So no, I am not breaking the law as you say you are.

Well, regarding taxes in general:

I’m just happy we don’t get all the government we’re paying for.

They’re just a bunch of blood suckers.

You’re good if the NH address is a legitimate one, whether full or part-time resin was as I recall. That’s a legal tax reduction strategy, just like applying for political asylum is a legal strategy.

If you were using a PO Box, that would be an illegal tax reduction strategy. Just like crossing the border without a legitimate need for asylum is illegal.

In either case, if you think the present law is wrong, work to change it. And, as others have said, if you choose to make a statement by defying it, then you must be prepared for the consequences. We have a long tradition of this.

If you come to New Hampshire be prepared for poorly maintained roads, inadequate public schools in many communities, and minimal services for seniors and the mentally and physically disabled. Also come prepared for the highest property taxes, on an equalized basis, in the nation. Then, there are the business taxes, high enough to be an obstacle to many startups.

On the good side, we have cheap booze at the state owned liquor stores, often located in highway rest areas.

We were in the process of declaring NH our legal address. We have owned a home on Lake Winnipesaukee since Carter was in office. The economy tanked and home values had tanked. I think the Prime as almost 20%. We were able to buy a vacation home. We had the home torn down and were in the process of building a new home. The contractor who was doing the rebuild, who has done work on the place for over 20 years was in a bad accident over the winter and is now able to restart. When it is completed we will restart the residency process. The brownstone in the city goes in trust and we will use it and pay the rental fee to the trust when we want a "city fix"
We ski a lot. I have rented a small house last Fall so we could stay up there and hang out. That is the address. Even though we have decided to spend the summer on the Jersey shore I am maintaining the rental as I will be going back and forth until we move into the NH home. I hope this answers your concerns about the legitimacy of my address. In closing, before I retired I paid in the high 40% of my compensation to NYC, NY State, and Federal taxes. That did not include SS and Medicare nor RE Taxes to the city. This is a rather long story but I wanted to make sure this satisfies your high moral concerns about my "legitimate address" and taxes.
Again you made an assumption about addresses and the shipping of purchases. Remember when you make assumptions you and the first three letters of the word are joined.
