Wonderful start as always, Larry, and thank you for taking the time to host another Free Sunday!
We had a long day today; my wife is an Administrative Assistant at Gettysburg College, and she had quite a few students ask her to attend their graduation ceremony today, and to have me take some pictures for them.
Most of those will go right into the hands of the graduates, but there are a couple images I thought I'd share here.
Gettysburg College dates back to 1820-something, and there are still quite a few original buildings in use today. The one that blows me away is known as Gettysburg Lodge...I'm not sure how it WAS used, or how it is being used, but it reminded me of an old time men's lodge where they'd get together, smoke smelly cigars, play cards and discuss how
to solve all the world's problems.
Here are some of the stained glass windows as well as an exterior shot of this unique building.
