Free Sunday is here again, and you are welcome to bring your own favorites to the show. No restrictions except the family friendly plug. Special thanks go to Rolk and Roadrunner for their super challenges last week. They went together well in my mind. I had a couple of leftovers from their subjects that I will use to get this started. Post up any of your leftovers or anything new you would like to share. If you’ve learned something new….teach me, teach me.
From the fav vaca challenge. Another from the Grand Teton National Park.

I, too, have some left overs...These are Mayan ruins on the Yucatan Pen in Mexico. I am truly is awe of this stuff, want to go back and see more. The stuff ancient peoples we able to accomplish is mind boggling...at least for my somewhat limited mind.
The "Nunery" - Chichen Itza
El Castillo - Chichen Itza
Ek Balam
Fooling with my iPhone 8Plus last night. Ground fog, the moon finally out and Passing cars acting as light painters. The images looked like paintings.
A beautifully colored dahlia - waiting to be planted. Loved the patterns, colors, folds
A little story that goes with that Angel Oak we visited in South Carolina. While we were there an artist was working on a painting and was using a very fine grain sand he had sifted from the loose soil in the area around the tree. He was mixing it with his paints to add authentic texture to his finished creation. It was really very unique and interesting to watch him work. While at the open market in Charlston while we saw this piece of original artwork …
…. of that same Angel Oak on 3 large canvases…

Very nice series, asymptotic. Always good to see places I probably won't get to personally.
