If she's going to protest, she should go all the way and refuse to play for the US Soccer team. She doesn't have a problem wearing the US patch on her uniform, which says she may not be serious about her protests. Seeking personnel attention seems to be her goal.

My preferences are sacred only to me and I have no right to refuse this cretin anything. She's spewing her rhetoric in the United States of America where freedom of speech is guaranteed by the Constitution. Besides,she's already stated that her "talent" gives her the right to behave as she wishes and no one can silence her.
I submit it's more because of the sacrifices made by others in support of the country she denigrates that she is free to regurgitate her dissatisfaction with the U.S. than her "talent." I wonder how her antics would play work in Russia, North Korea, or any of the "peace loving" Muslim countries.
