Why don’t you listen to the business channel or read a paper. We have added more jobs,but they are not good jobs and salary is stagnant. Our deficit is soaring. We are in a trade war which is hurting the farmers. Trump is trying to subsidize them how long can that last. When China gets other sources for soy beans they’ll not come back to buy from the U.S. The world has used the dollar are it’s standard for trade. With our threats of embargoes countries are looking for a different standard.

BTW when Obama took office we were loosing 700,000 jobs a month. Obama’s and his administration turned the economy around and saved the auto industry.

You need to read Paul Krugman has a Nobel Prize in economics, he was also a professor at Princeton and is now at the City Univ. of NY. He also writes for The NY Times. I would say many,many people regard him highly.

Correction, at one time Paul Krugman was a highly regarded economist who won a Nobel price for his work on the acceleration of currency and international trading, but that was a long time ago, since that time he has totally and unequivocally discredited himself by becoming nothing more than a flaming progressive using his former stature and column at the NYT to proffer the most ridiculous assertions as he has forgone academic integrity in favor of becoming a celebrity for the progressive movement.... Krugman has gotten absolutely nothing right in over 10 years.

Not exonerated in the way that Trump claims the Mueller report exonerated him, but actually exonerated. You could also say that this stunt was racially motivated.

It was still against the law and the choice the Trumps had to make was consent decree or criminal prosecution. And I do not concede that everyone did it. Assuming, arguendo, that that statement is true, then how does it follow that it was right and not racially motivated?

Besides, you challenged another poster to offer proof that Trump is a r****t. I offered the proof, with which you have no argument, I guess, and now you need to work yourself into logic pretzels to rationalize r****t and criminal behavior. Not that trump is not a r****t, but you can explain/rationalize his r****m. A subtle shift in argument, but I get it.

I won't insult you but am curious too as to how you can call Trump a r****t. Please give us some examples. Don't throw in the old one of him throwing b****s out of his apartment houses. That one is pretty well used up by now. Also it became meaningless the very moment Robert Byrd, the Grand PooBah of the KKK was welcomed into the DEMOCRATIC Senate and became Hillary's mentor. I disagree, it had nothing to do with his feelings towards black people and everything to do with protecting an investment, you are going back to the mid 70's. You can try and deny that mixed neighborhoods did not suffer lowered property values but you would be denying the reality of that time period. I did not say it was right, I did not say it was moral nor did I try to make a legal argument regarding what Trump did, I do however stand by my assertion that it was a common practice back then and this country has moved on since then.

I will point to Barack Obama, back as recently as 2012 I do believe he publicly affirmed his belief that marriage was between a man and a woman, did this mean that he was a h********c zenophobe? I don't think so, a lot of things have changed since the 1970's, Trump has done more for the black communities in his first two years in office than Obama did in his 8 years and Trump continues to work for those communities in both in the areas of criminal justice reform and in the development of opportunity reforms and education reform.

Democrats are hypocrites and always have been only now they are simply out of control. Here you are bringing something up out of Trumps past from some almost 50 years ago when he was in his twenties, I will remind you that Robert Byrd in his twenties was a recruiter for the Klu Klux Klan and later he became a beloved figure in the democrat party, you folks are simply blinded by your h**e, Trump is working for minorities in this country in meaningful ways, for years Washington has no nothing at all that would change the condition of minority communities in this country, Trump is making efforts which is more that can be said of his predecessor.
