New York Times columnist blasts Trump for giving P**********l Medal of Freedom to Tiger Woods, rather than someone who has 'shown courage and made sacrifices on behalf of the nation'.

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman is a wealthy partisan hack who, like most partisan hacks, is unable to resist the allure of Twitter. When a steaming hot take enters his brain, Krugman is rarely dissuaded from sharing it with the world. He types it in the little white box. He presses the "Tweet" button.

Krugman logged into his account Monday evening, for example, to put President Donald Trump "on blast" for awarding the P**********l Medal of Freedom to golf legend Tiger Woods, who recently ended his Obama-era drought on the PGA tour by winning The Masters at Augusta National.

Krugman, 66, evidently does not remember President Barack Obama's eight years in office, and all the P**********l Medals of Freedom he fastened around the necks of aging celebs. Or perhaps Krugman does remember, and he just earnestly believes the following individuals were truly deserving of the honor for "showing courage and making sacrifices on behalf of the nation and the world," rather than doing frivolous activities for money.

P**********l Medal of Honor recipients under Obama include:

Michael Jordan
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Meryl Streep
Steven Spielberg
Robert Redford
Robert De Niro
Tom Hanks
Yo-Yo Ma
Bob Dylan
Stevie Wonder
Gloria Estefan
Barbara Streisand
James Taylor
Diana Ross
Bruce Springsteen
Warren Buffett
Tom Brokaw
Lorne Michaels
Joe Biden
Congrats on the take, moron.

The Media Bias Chart rates the WFB Free Beacon as delivering Extreme/unfair interpretations of the news. Posters souce should be dismissed.

Kilroy's only redeeming sk**l is disparaging the posted source. NOT the actual source of the information which could include actually opening the article and at least looking at the byline and or attribution.

I prefer to read what Krugman wrote, not what a biased source claims he wrote. You have not posted the link to Krugman’s article, as I suggested.

What? You expect to be spoon fed? Feel entitled much? For gawd's sake, just Google 'Paul Krugman' and find it yourself in less time than it's taking for me to tell you how to do it.

If it's The medal of Freedom, it suggests he wasn't free until then. Smacks of racial discrimination in assuming a black man wasn't free, but now he is.
I agree with Krugman. It's insulting to the recipient, in this case Tiger Woods.
If it were me, I'd tell trump to shove it. He's the moron.

Lol the medal of freedom has nothing to do with race or s***ery. Why is it that you crazy Lefties always seem to view everything through the prism of race? The answer is quite clear, Lefties like you are the true closet r****t.

"The P**********l Medal of Freedom is an award bestowed by the President of the United States. The P**********l Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal are the highest civilian awards of the United States. It recognizes those people who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors".[2] The award is not limited to U.S. citizens and, while it is a civilian award, it can also be awarded to military personnel and worn on the uniform."
