In America today, with all the whining and b***hing about r****m that Obama revived, the Left should take a real good look around the country. Any black person who wants a job can find one. There are black people at the very top in just about every job classification in the country. In the political forum there has been a black person represented from the POTUS on down. Black people are doctors, lawyers, bakers, truck drivers, teachers, everything from the bottom of the ladder going up to CEO's and so on. There is absolutely nothing in America that a black person can't achieve IF that person wants to get an education and work hard. That is the t***h.

Its also been given to Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Dianna Ross, Thurgood Marshall and many other black people. There's a list of all of them on Wikipedia.

Didn't Oprah Winfrey receive one as well. What some of these people did to win such an award is beyond my thinking. Maybe to Obama it went along with the Liberal thinking that everybody gets a participation award.

The Medal of Freedom is not the same as the Medal of Honor. Check Wikipedia to read the difference. The Medal of Honor can only be bestowed on military personnel. That the Beacon uses Honor instead of Freedom is their way of distorting issues.
