First I'd like to thank our wonderful host for a wonderfully moving challenge...great job! Next I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions not for just the beautiful captures but to those who have shared their memories which I know for some may have been difficult....Thank you! Lastly, all my heartfelt thanks, that words could never fully express, to those that have served and are serving....THANK YOU! The attached photos were taken the other day at a nearby community park while I was out at the beaver dam didn't capture any beavers but the second one is all camera (except to crop out the entirely blown out background) I do not know the dedicator nor the family on this monument but the reflection and the six simple words say it all....

From my archives... Feb., 2016 in Houston... Mother Nature was blowing really hard that day, these flags are close to 15 feet long, and the wind had them standing at attention... fairly unusual...
