Actually, I would *prefer* a discount... maybe a drop in the rate to say $1.00 per month? :)

A reward for longstanding customers.

This is a test. If it does not fly, it will not be rolled out. If the subscribers complain and start dropping like flies, I doubt Adobe will increase the price. Maybe they will offer the higher plan as an option. Let's not jump the gun here folks.

This price is not a freaking test but a new offer that combines more space, encouraging users to depend on Adobe storage (that has been offered separately for a long time).

The idea is not a 'price test' or 'whatever' you folks want to call it but a deal that will make those who store large amount of data dependable on adobe and therefore insuring they will stay since they have so much invested in the 'adobe cloud'.

I find irritating that folks jump on the bandwagon on screams ADOBE RAISES ITS PRICES, I'LL QUIT IF THEY DO!!!!

Riiiiiight!!!!!

Get a brain and for god sake use it.

To be fair, it was the communication from Adobe itself that referred to it as a marketing test. Yes, they are certainly attempting to sell cloud storage as a benefit, but I think that's not the only thing at work here.

If it goes up to twenty bucks a month, I'll look at other options as being more competitive and feasible. But I still like Adobe for a lot of reasons, and it would make me unhappy to have to switch for financial reasons just because I have no need for cloud based storage.

FWIW:

An additional 10.00 per month for a lousy 1 TB is outrageous in my opinion.... NOW, if they really want to sell the 20.00 per month plan... make it 10 TB, Photoshop, Lightroom & Bridge for 20.00 a month....

No just gave you more options to buy . You can still buy at $9.99 a month or $119.00 a year ,just no cloud storage. I would not use cloud storage anyways storage is cheap 6 terabytes for $129.00 ...
