I love these! The vintage look is great, and the model is beautifully full figured.

A tip for improvement: her weight is equally distributed on both legs. Next time, try having her put her weight on the leg furthest from the camera, and avoid having the legs on a heavier woman pointing directly at the camera...it makes them look heavier. Nice set.

Yep--right there under God's blue sky in my back yard! (Oooops the wife would say OUR back yard)

I like the potential here. The choice of model, the setting, the props are all very good. I'm just not a big fan of what's presented. If these are conversions, I think adding some color back would help, like giving them a hand-painted print look. The lack of contrast gives them a whispy vintage feel, but maybe it's a bit overdone. I've never been a fan of positive-value vignetting. Its one of the first tricks you learn to do in a dark room and for me, I never thought it improved any image I printed using it. Again, the vignetting does give them a vintage look and maybe that's what you were trying to achieve.

Well, if that is your wife, she makes a wonderful model, and one you ought to utilize more often.

Very nice set of pics.

Your subject is lovely, what I sometimes refer to as a "real woman".
I must agree with John Frim about the distraction in image #1, I find the drive in the background to be a little distracting, but not enough to ruin the images.

Nose issue had to be fixed--didn't see it of course in the original (color) as it was green behind a nose colored nose. Driveway, yes I tried rolling it up for the shoot but it was uncooperative.
