Have new Leica X2 for sale.
This whole thing is looking more and more bogus. OP not aware of what he was buying, still not aware of what he has (it has a 24mm lens, not 85mm.....
It is too silly do follow any further.

Bought a Leica X2 only to find it has a fixed lens. I need a camera with more than one lens. Anyone interested in an exchange?
Joined yesterday👍 Bought $1,000.00 + camera without knowing anything about it👍 No location info👍 No price listed👍No pics👍 What could possibly go wrong.

There is no reason to part with the X2.
It will do the detail shots of his carvings,
unless the the carvings are very tiny, in
which case the proper gear is something
that he will be unable to operate anyway.
Keep the X2 !

Nadelewitz has insights but the wrong conclusions. Barruch is not bogus but ignorant and confused because he has so little experience. The X2 is real, purchased on 9/23/14 for 1500.00 with 25.00 minicard.$1658.44. Used so little and so ineptly, I concluded that it was the wrong camera for the job.
Poor lighting, lousy set-up, un-read manual, failed and infrequent practice guarantee failure all around.
I can't even send you a picture of my carvings but those are real and darn good! Yes, should keep camera and give it a chance to do what it can do. Will keep trying. Much obliged.
