I have, but you two are so interested in being DSLR fanboys,

That's funny. I just mentioned in the last couple of days that I was adding the Z 14-30 F/4.0 for my Z6.

That's not a DSLR.

But seriously, all topics you start are gear related. I don't think I'm alone in wishing you would put the gear aside and discuss techniques you use when shooting. You have proved that you can get the picture with all the big named brands. You probably have a lot more to share from personal experience.

I did know you had gotten the Z6 for awhile now. You are asking me to put the gear talk aside, but you do the very same thing taking about gear, especially Nikon.

Lots of folks are talking gear as well as technique. Folks talk about what interests them. One very well-known Youtuber says when he does a video about technique he gets a small number of viewers (and they are harder to produce with behind-the-scenes and all). BUT when he does a video about gear he gets hundreds to thousands of views. Go figure. Cheers

DOOM ... is exactly why you can't get them.
No point in ramping up production in light of
a fading market.

Your must be on a different planet than me.

Not sure how getting the Z6 makes me a dslr fanboy in your eyes.

I do talk about gear. But if you look you will see that the majority of the topics I start are in the Photo Gallery where my signature invites comments, good or bad. I believe you could add more by sharing your images and your perspective.

The fact that you get more hits talking about gear doesn't mean much. Most of those discussions don't bring anything new to the table since almost everybody has access to the same sources. They serve as an interesting and enjoyable social gathering.

Nah - seemed like you were using his results to point out why you stick to talking about gear. Most of your post are you interjecting something about Sony in threads started by others. Very few threads started by you.

You ignore requests to show and discuss your photography here on UHH.

In my career I have shot, Topcon, Canon, Hasselblad, Kowa, Konica, Leica, Sony, Contax, Mamiya, Panasonic, Minolta, and Nikon. I have shot professionally for over 35 years, been a Nikon Rep., UPI Photographer and instructor.
I currently shoot Nikon and Sony Mirrorless camera's. I see advantages in all types of photographic equipment.
My mantra is; use what gives you results, no matter what that equipment is.

Dang. The butthurt is real in this thread.

Reminds me of the graphite vs fiberglass vs bamboo guys in flyfishing - sure, new tech might perform better or be more efficient, but there's always something nice about quality vintage or near-vintage gear. If what you are using gets the job done and makes you happy, use it, and be well.
