Best wishes and prayers.

Make the most of that time, though I would recommend learning LR and PS as a unit since that is how they are designed to work.

A suggestion, try table top macro work and still lifes. Both can be done from a wheelchair or even a bed with a little help.

LR drove me crazy. Its like an opposite of PS, I tried but never got a grip.
Macro I have done in the past, loved it. never had a " macro " lens, so I used the reversed lens method for macro and micro. I would have to get a bright light for that but now that LED is cheap that is a nice option.
Still life of the Golden is easy, there is however nothing still about the husky lol.
Great suggestion mate, thanks. Il see if I can dig up my male/male adapter and match it up with a lens

Danniel - enjoy the heck out of the next few weeks. Hope that nasty weather isn't up your way. Wishing that your surgery goes well and you have a quick recovery!

thanks mate.
Our nasty weather lasted about 2 hrs. provided much needed rain, and some bonding time with the dogs when the thunder came lol. bonding as in 3 dogs on top of me in my twin bed

Prayers and best wishes.
My Mother had MD but she died in her mid 80s before she got so bad she could not function. Mom was a "SPORTS NUT" she got cable TV just for the sports, she even watched golf and fishing shows but loved figure skating and American Baseball.
She did give up driving a year or two before she passed. Between myself, my oldest son and her friends she was able to get everywhere with no problems. Michael and I even took turns living with her the last couple of years and we got her an 8 hour a day helper Monday to Friday when we were at work or school. My wife Debra (registered nurse) would visit with the two younger kids and explain medical stuff to Mom every so often.

Plus with still life and macro the SS can be as slow as you like. I have even used small pocket LED flashlights propped on books and things to light macros of dried flowers and plants.

Here you go! - set up a little studio with lighting, etc, that you can place things in, or have your helper place the objects, and just turn on, or have someone turn on the light, then use your remote control to activate the shutter.

Update. Pre op exam discovered I had recent;ly had a Heart attack, and didnt really know it, due to pain meds and lack of severity.
However it has effectively canceled my surgery until I am cleared after a stress test and exam by a specialist.
Sometimes I think they are just padding one anothers pockets for the sake of it.
I will resume posting soon as I am told to chill out, by the Dr's

Well, the lack of severity is good news anyway and hope more good news will follow--take care and look forward to hearing some good news on your recovery! Corky
