My uncle was in the navy and stationed at Pearl. His baby was born on Dec. 6th 1941. On the 7th when they were being moved to a safer place she was dropped and received brain damage. She could never walk or talk. She lived till 9 years old. Just another untold story of that bombing.

Well captured! I toured her in July 2009. My Dad was on the USS San Francisco docked across from Battleship Row during the Pearl Harbor Attack and saw the whole thing. He then spent most of the war on the San Francisco in the Pacific; it was the second most decorated ship in WW II. I worked for the Navy as a civilian aerospace engineer for 26 years doing in-service engineering on Navy aircraft. I'll be in Oahu for a week next month and plan on touring the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and possibly the Mighty Mo.
I was stationed at Pearl after the bombing--artillery gun position right above the Arizona in Waipahu--went back in 2004 ( my 80th birthday)--visited the Arizona and the Missouri--and toured the islands--what a change///////you can't go home again---just cele brated my 95th
