Those beautiful shots of the birds are awesome. You have a fantastic Canon Lens giving sharp and details of their feathers despite of the fact you were using x2 Teleocnverter. Heartiest Congratulations.

There is no loss of detail with my Canon 2x III extender(teleconverter).

Well, they only rest for a few seconds which makes it tricky to photograph them. The Violet-green Swallow is a Western states species only. Ohio doesn't have this species but does have some colorful ones.
