Way to go Bill! SOOC is fine for photo-journalism, but rarely works for art.

Definitely a saver. Just getting to point of looking at PP software as only have done darkroom processing when film was the only thing. This shows how it can be a definite asset. Thank you.

I like what you've done with this Bill. Thanks for sharing the before and after.

Thanks so much Vicki! I've saved many photos this way! Many of my shots are a mess, but this method always gives me the nugget I was looking for!

boncarbo42, don't thank me yet! Learning this stuff isn't easy! May I suggest getting either Photoshop Elements or Photoshop, the full program and lightroom is also a good addon to Photoshop!I started out with Photoshop 7 and then bought Photoshop Elements! Elements is a watered down Photoshop, of which you'll only use 10% of in your lifetime! Elements is designed with the photographer in mind and everything is easier and less convoluted! It's faster with many standard operations, much less costly and easier to use.
Have fun and show us how you've done!

2014 was my first Gem show. This slab, Photo1, came in handy a year later when I took this Indian doll’s photo 2. It was stuffed in a back lite closet! I knew it would need help and fixed it in Photo 3 “NEVER let a bad background keep you from taking a good photo!”
Comments Welcomed!

Thanks so much MT! It's the software, not the camera! I have little to do with it!
