I bought a Sony a 7 ii camera last week....

....coupled with a Sony a mount to e mount adapter and tried both out with my Tamron 150 - 600 lens and it worked pretty good.I'm still getting to grips with the camera which in time will be a great walk around
camera instead of lugging the a mount cameras about when we have our holiday breaks.Anyway i digress and i've been out with the new camera using the big Tamron plus the adapter (LA-EA4) on a few bird shots to see how it went and i was quite happy with the photos i got.

Very nice pics, who would have thought that Sony would make it non video world that succesfuly.
I to find myself competing with my son who has the same Sony as for me I am a diehard Nikon user....

I came from Canon and bought the Sony a7ii 2 yrs ago. It took me a little time to transition...Sony menu system not great, but other than that I loved it! Just recently splurged & upgraded it to the a7Riii.
