Very few people understand this basic fact about the crusades: They were a reaction and pushback against CENTURIES of Muslim aggression. Repeated attacks on Europe itself; piracy; s***e-taking; endless atrocities against Jews in the Mideast; endless atrocities against Christians in Mideast and Europe. And, btw, much of the s***e capture in Africa was by Muslims in the more recent history encompassing the s***e-shipping to the New World.

Not sure if you're following from the beginning but I'm not the one who started with the insults and name calling. Don't chastise me because others are incapable of restraining themselves from flinging insults as soon as someone doesn't bow down and agree with them. Most of these posters are doing nothing but bad mouthing Pope Francis. I'm not a member of the Roman Catholic Church but I'm pretty darn sure most if not all the bad mouthers don't have a tenth of the character the priest from Argentina has.
