It's next weekend, in Newton, Saturday April 6 only, at the American Legion Hall on California Street, from 9 to 4, with an "early bird admission" at 7 AM and an auction at 4:00. It's only four bucks general admission, a Jackson for the "early bird" pass (I s'pose there are more bargains then?)
This is one of the most fun photographic events around, especially for film era enthusiasts. Lots of digital gear, lots of miscellaneous stuff, lots of actual photos and ephemera. Prices are usually lower than eBay levels and it's a fun time for all. I've learned more about vintage gear in person here than I ever expected - I've been going to these since the 1970s. Most of the booths belong to well known used equipment dealers, and some of the local shops (including the fantastic Hunt's and Vermont Camera) always show up. If you're looking for a Rolleikin, or an old Nikon PC Lens, or just a Compur shutter to use for parts, you're very likely to find it there.
Anyone else planning to attend?

AndyH, I live on Cape Cod and have heard nothing about this show. Is there a website or other site that I might get some info on it?

Here ya go....
http://phsne.org/activities/photographica/It is a great time, happens every April. One of my favorite signs of spring. You can find virtually anything possible from the film era and a heckuva a lot of digital stuff as well. Most of the dealers are very generous with their time, and you'll be able to handle all kinds of gear you may never have seen in the flesh before. Last year I got to handle a "Rectaflex" - Google that one for a surprise!
Hope to see you there!

A suburb of Boston. Address is in the link, and it's right off the Mass Turnpike. I'd drive a long way to attend, but it's only two hours for us. I'd say it's a little more than a day trip from Williamsport, though.

Arch … Newton is actually closer to Worcester than it is to Boston …
You could even get there - following I-84 to the junction with the Mass Pike at Sturbridge, and then follow local routes to Newton … without ever getting on the Pike. It's a toll road, of course, but there are no longer any toll booths … instead there are overhead thingies which take pics of your plate … so, when you get on and when you get off - it's all tallied in the computers, and then you get sent a bill in the mail. If you're going all the way into Boston - it makes sense, but if you're only going to Newton - you might find it more feasible to follow the local roads from Sturbridge thru Worcester, and on to Newton - it's not far from there.

Chris, you need to check your Google Maps. The Legion Hall in Newton is 40.5 miles from my office in downtown Worcester, just across the street from City Hall. It's nine miles from Boston City Hall.
As Annie Savoy says, "You could look it up!"
Architect, I've made the trip from Williamsport to Boston a number of times. I'd choose 684, then 84 to Sturbridge, and the Mass Pike from there. You can take local roads and save about two dollars, but it will take two hours from Sturbridge instead of one. That's a trip I make several times a month.

Architech1776, Andy is correct as to where the show is, outside of Boston. See attached map.

Andy … I could say the same to you … I-684 goes from Brewster, NY to White Plains, NY … doesn't go anywhere else. It'd be kinda silly to get on I-684 to make the trip from Williamsport, PA to Newton, MA. Best bet is to get on 84 where it begins just south of Scranton, and then follow it to where it ends, and merges - with the Mass Pike at Sturbridge, Mass.
Andy … I've made the trip from Worcester to Newton on local roads many times - it doesn't take TWO hrs.

I’m definitely going. I’m in the middle of a refurb of a 1900s korona. Might find some parts. Plus old Nikon lenses

We make the 84 trip regularly - 684 has far less traffic, and rejoins 84. Less traffic equals an easier drive. My GPS tells me the shortest route is to take Route 95 and the GW, but I know better.
And no, it's not two hours to Boston from Worcester, even on Route 9. More like an hour and a half. But Sturbridge is a half hour from Worcester, and Route 20 is not a pleasant or quick ride. Trust me on this, I have done it many times. Anyone avoiding the Mass Pike to save two bucks on tolls goes even beyond my level of cheapskatedness.

I might, Andy … a week from today - right? … But if I do - I will stay off the Pike!!!
I know those rural routes between Sturbridge, thru Worcester, and on to Newton … pretty well …
Lived in Boston for two years, Worcester for six months, and Sturbridge for another six months.
