I have the same feeling. I think some of it might be the color balance, which leans towards the warm side contrary to the setting which seems cold. There is also something going on the processing that I can't put my finger on, but that doesn't seem natural, either.

I'm in a quandary. Both photos are of a peaceful pastoral scene. Why, then, do I find myself tensing up when I see the photos?
Anyone? Anyone?

The process problem is the WB, and thank you for bringing it to my attention. I am pretty sure I had the WB set on the wrong setting the morning I took these...........more than likely on cloudy, which brought out the oranges/reds more than the scene calls for. Since I didn't catch it right away that morning, and failed to completely fix in during pp, it still shows up in these two. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
