Nice portrait, Vicki. First-rate framing and sharp as a tack.
I’m a sucker for white horses; we raised one from a baby (an App) and kept her her whole life, some twenty-eight years.

Nice shot Vicki. I have owned the Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 for several years now and think it is a great lens. I used it quite a bit as a landscape as well as a night sky lens.

I'm still playing with the new lens, a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 and decided to get a shot of this guy as I passed him at a barn where I give riding lessons. He almost blended in with the barn siding, but the dark background set him off a bit. I suspect he wished he was out in the sun instead of confined to his stall since
he looked pretty bored at this moment.

Lovely horse well framed in image Vicki.

Yes Vicki he is offset by the darkness in the stall but I really like the subdued lighting in the picture. Well done.

Great shot Vicki in all aspects, and the download rocks! BTW, I have the G2 version of that lens and it rarely leaves my 5D Mk IV. One of the sharpest lenses in my arsenal~IMO

Nice portrait, Vicki. He looks as though he’d like a friendly scratch and pat on the neck.

Vicki, this is really nice. I think you chose wisely about the amount of space around the horse, as he is nicely framed in an environment. He matches nicely the surround, so that's nice. I fine stalled horses to look bored frequently. I think they would all prefer to be out in an open field somewhere!
