Utter nonsense. S***ery was a part of American history. It is well to remember the totality of American, as well as the world's , history. The University, from which I graduated, had as a core curriculum Contemporary Civilization. A 2 semester study of world history. Including American history from it's founding to the present. With a study of the Constitution.As a resukt I gained a thorough respect for our Republic and it's founders. It has served me well. This kinda of thing should be a part of every collegs graduate's knowledge. Unfortunitly it is not. Part of the dumbing down of todays liberal dumbing down of the edcational system, Conservatives bear some of the blame for allowing it to happen. Santayana's warning comes to mind.
