Nice one Bev. As the tail is cropped, it looks a little unbalanced. Tighter cropping would remedy that (unless you have an image with the whole tail). Lovely bird portrait though

Hi, Bev,

I do rather like the imaginative background.

I am, however, puzzled by the strange composition and the cut-off tail feathers. Given that you had opportunity to “work the scene” with this captive bird, I’m sure a better composition without having to crop the end of the tail could have been arranged.
