Couldn't pass up this little guy with a couple flakes of snow. Used a couple Daily Texture textures and a Topaz border. Comments/critiques always welcome. Bev

I love it the way it is, very nicely done. The bird with the snow/water droplets couldn’t have posed any better. The background is a tad dark but too intriguing to criticize.

Really like this one, on the download the Merlin pops and I think the background compliment its colours..

The bird is really nice. I'm not fond of constructed backgrounds, but this one is pretty good. I think I'd move him just a smidge to the right, though. And with snowflakes on the bird, I think there should also be snow falling in the background. Otherwise it looks like he went through the lint filter at the laundrymat!

IMHO a close crop without so much background would be an improvement. Nice capture of the bird.

The background was nothing but blown out white from the snow, which is why I took one of my shots to try to feature the birds markings. I'll try to work it a bit more and include some snowflakes. Thanks for the suggestion. Bev

Bev, I like the colors and the concept, but the bird seems squashed against the background.
