Thanks jederick - I appreciate your comments. My little town has always had a very active Little League, and I can remember how much fun it was playing all those many years ago.

My granddaughter is involved in softball and will soon have some games to shoot (if the rain ever stops). Do you have a recommendation for where to stand to get shots like this? I'm a bit concerned about the wire fencing of the backstop.

Thanks Vicki - glad you liked it. I used to stand on the first base side as close as I could get to the field; that gave me a pretty good view of the right-handed batters. I did have to duck every once in a while though to avoid some screaming foul balls.
