Yeah, attempting to shoot any sports action event is all about placement, timing, settings, luck, and “know when” skill. You got the moment. Very nice!

Thanks awis01 - I appreciate your comments. The D300 wasn't the speediest camera in continuous mode, so I had to get better anticipating when to press the shutter button.
