Kinda reminds me of a blood moon effect . Kool

That was what I was going for. I struggle every time I try to shoot a blood moon. Just don't have the skills there yet but I keep trying.

My, my, you’re galloping now Keni! All very nicely done and I congratulate you on your unstoppable progress with Ps. Don’t forget, you can add a mask to any layer, so colour and texture can be selectively added even though it’s potentially able to affect the whole image.

Thank you so much Dave but don't expect me to remember everything every time. My poor "little grey cells" (must be said in a Belgian accent) don't work as well as they used to.

It is good to see your skills becoming focused on something of your own creation. May this be a new and exciting horizon, making your work more and more your own, creative art.

I would like it to be that way Bob. I don't mind using the tools I find on the internet for now but eventually I want to own the whole process.

I'm glad you like it. As I learn new techniques in PS it is definitely leading me into a different type of photographic art. Now I need to learn how to make my own texture layers so it really is all mine. I will get there. 9 more years until retirement!

I am not familiar with that technique but I do like the results with your image. For me it has an other-worldly look about it.

What I do do for textured layers I take shots on anything and everything. I have taken shots of tile, paint brush bristles, carpets. Whatever I can imagine I will take a shot of it, and put into my textured files.
