Wonderful image - she has a very real presence and you captured it.
She did seem to have command of the room. Thanks Bill for you very kind words.

Just a question. Why do people call a mature woman “young lady” but not call a mature man "young gentleman'’?
I have heard that done before ngrea. It might be a southern "thing".

It's almost as if this were taken at Buckingham Palace. Quite regal.
But you have made a common mistake that I have made countless times. You've cut off the bottom of the stone of her necklace. Aiming a camera at someone is an uncomfortable thing for me and I try to take it fast. Trying to get everything in is not always so easy.
Having said that, I am 67, and I hate when someone calls me "young man." It's patronizing and insulting. It's bad enough getting old and hurting without that.

She did appear to be "quite regal" Craig. Yes, I did barely cut the bottom of the her broach. I was rushed a little as this was a tour and they were trying to keep people moving along. I am 71 and it does not bother me as much as it seems to do you, could be a southern thing. It was only a few months ago that I was buying a case of beer in a local Walmart and they asked to see my ID, I just got a really good laugh out of it.
Thanks for your comments.
