The part about the Vatican being an independent State/Country? Or that Catholic Priests grant absolution?

This part: "a priest is a part of the Vatican, The Vatican is a separate and independent state, just like any country in the world and so has diplomatic immunity"

How come the Catholic Church has been sued for many millions of dollars, if a priest is part of the Vatican which has diplomatic immunity?

That my friend is what Catholics call a mystery of the Church.
Get this, just like an embassy, law enforcement may not enter a church (or its grounds). To clarify, a church has a designated spiritual head, ordained priest usually and the ground is consecrated, a chapel is not consecrated nor has a permanent member of the clergy assigned.

Put me on the list of those who are confused by the Catholic church.

Sure, but it's a brave new world. Imagine all the Catholics with the new Pope. He's a Dominican, Pops don't come from the Dominicans. The Dominican order are famous for the creation of The Witches Hammer, the Inquisition and the suppression of the Cathars in France. They took care of the Knights of the Temple as well. That's enough then.

The idea of stopping tattoos for military personal is rather draconian and ill informed! That sounds like a major law suite in the making!!!

1) When you sign on the dotted line, and join the military, yo do not have the same rights as civilians.
2) The DoD used to have a strict tat compliance reg dealing with excessively noticeable ink on arms, neck, so Recruiters would turn these individuals away. However, recruitment goals were not being met, so standards were changed and sleeve tats were in.
