I was some what surprised by the reaction, really. There seem to be a large group on here that appear as well healed religious individual who are rather thin skinned. I'm ever so happy that I still live in a country like the US that purport to be a Democracy and not a Republic; though I am wary of a lot of the idiocy that ignores fascia framing the US Flag in the Senate.

Yet there is still hope that we as a people will awake from the nightmare imposed by Laplace and the clock like padgram of the universe and so replace that notion of samsara with a spiritually based vision. Sorry, that made as much sense as asking some here to read A Clockwork Orange, or watching Stanly Kubrick's film of the same name, and return with an informed opinion.

You guessed it, we are moving on in our adventure! Disguising our 'safe' foray into visions of naughty/kinky visual representation. Bad Timmy! In keeping with expressing the world of naughty fun and propping it up with the zealot like abuse of what has become known as flagellants!

Now we are in it! From spanking to floggers, but note that these are instruments being used and no model is touching another model, well, not really.

So politically incorrect, but ain't that what art is for?

When A Clockwork Orange came to VHS, I was criticized for its violence, I informed those critics that Clockwork Orange was a reflection and defining of our society in ballet form,

And dpullum, both of you thanks.

My Goodness, others on here have seen and read some of the fine works of and in literature (cinema is a form/type of visual literature). Kubrick was such a master of that medium. His last work Eyes Wide Shut with the pedophilia element of the young daughter was a stroke of such genius. Working with young women I have encountered the damage done. rape on women is much greater than realized, while that of men is so much a taboo subject it will be in the next generation of adults before we realize the extent of that sexual violence.

With this third grouping of imagery in this second thread, the introduction of flagellation become a new revealed 'thing'. The up side of the rather fascinating side of The Ecstasy can be more revealed. Take the revealed life of The ecstasy of Saint Teresa* God would have visitations with her and place her in sexual arousal. That is quite a story! I'll leave it to people to look into Teresa and her life story.

You sir have a talent for getting your ideas across! Bravo!
With me being dyslexic everyone would just chalk it up to a spelling error or slip of the wrist.

Humor, good intelligent humor is not common on the HOG. I will miss you; as I'm Italian and I will be referring this to my Uncle Boz, he will not be pleased! LOL!!!

And so is my Wife. I won't share this post with her. As for me, I am a mixture of Irish, Jewish, Scandinavian, and Native American. So no jokes about drinking, the Holocaust, seal clubbing, or Squaws

This is nothing. You see Naughty Nuns like this around Los Angeles all the time.

Props for you for posting images of a controversial subject.

PS: If you’ve ever read Burgess’ Clockwork Orange, you see that in the end, Alex after his treatment, had remorse and guilt for those who had been victims of his violent acts. Very, very different from Kubrick’s excellent film.

Good day little Droogies, shall we go to the Korova Milk Bar for some Moloko Plus, hmmmm?

Someone else commented on this when I first showed the series. Nuns don't normaly get tattoos but should a woman who has already had tattoos receives 'the calling' as they the people of the church would say, then a woman who already has tattoos would not be excluded on the grounds of a past life involving tattoos.

In truth part of what I wanted to do with the images worked perfectly in having the 'lesser' Nun having tattoos. She begins covered but do to the correction of her behavior she has her coverings removed but both her head and genitals are covered.

As the set continues the head Nun removes her outer coverings revealing her body with stockings that have large vinyl tops, BUT her head remains covered. This points to a question about her 'purity' of thinking as she adheres to the need for the head to be covered but in fact here designs are in question.

Note also that the Tatted Nun is new to this and she tries to distract the Mother Nun by grabbing her breasts.

I know that there have been comments regarding the props and actions but there is more to all this than just an attempt to make naughty images of Nuns. There is an undercurrent that I think I have placed in the making of the series.

When I conceived this set of images I was reacting to events in my own life. A friend had called telling me he had lost most of his former friends because he had an experience and that he had been born again, Jesus was now in his heart. We talked and we spoke about witnessing and how it could come across as negative to others.

A year later we spoke again and he had settled back into a life were he had gotten balanced between his new belief and that of living a life of everyday.

I also reflected on the persona of Bob Dylan. He had to go through the same realigning of his public life after his transformation.

This set of images was to look for balance in a subject matter that explores the social context with in the construct of Nuns as religious persons. That was my intent and I think it begins to work as you will see as the next parts are added.

Believe it or not, the USA tried to stop members of the armed forces from getting them. Tattoos have always been a part of the military culture and should remain so

The idea of stopping tattoos for military personal is rather draconian and ill informed! That sounds like a major law suite in the making!!!

I wonder if a pregnant woman who receives 'the calling' can be admitted. The church is always a mystery to me just as the priests who fondle young boys have been protected for many years.

A pregnant woman can not join an order until after the baby is born and the child placed for adoption.

"a mystery to me just as the priests who fondle young boys have been protected for many years."
Un OH, their not protected, they are forgiven.
You will love this, then again, you won't. First step, a priest is a part of the Vatican, The Vatican is a separate and independent state, just like any country in the world and so has diplomatic immunity. There is of course the 'history' of sanctuary associated with the Catholic Church but no need for that legality any more thanks to Mousseline in 1932 when he granted the separation of The Vatican as a separate and anatomies state. Consecrated ground means that the church property is the equivalent of an embassy.

There is a rather odd 'thing' in church doctrine. A priest may hear confession from any human on earth. That confession is sacred and can not be violated. It is like our client/attorney privilege, except that under church doctrine it may not under any conditions be violated. So a priest may hear a confession and must assume it to be sincere. WAIT FOR IT! Under church doctrine the confession is binding as an absolution, even unto God!

So, you see, the Vatican/Pope even can not violate the sanctity of confession absolved by a priest, not even God can annul this confession/absolution.

Now before we begin hearing all manner of 'that's not true', I don't care to hear it unless you are a the least an ordained priest of the Roman Catholic Church. I was just as dumb founded as you are when this was explained to me by an Arch Bishop of the Catholic Church. Just Amazing!
