Hi Richard - thanks for the comment - the area is definitely worth a trip (and the food is excellent)!

Beautiful souvenirs for me, Moules Marinieree? hell yes, two plates and ready for more oysters when ready.

Beautiful pictures

Thanks.

Thank you, French, I am happy I could let you recall some beautiful souvenirs, and yes, the food is outstanding over there - that's one of the reasons we make our annual pilgrimage! Enjoy - and there are many more pictures, including food shots, to come.

QUIBERON lies on the southern part of the Quiberon peninsula where the Bay of Quiberon meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is now primarily known as a seaside resort for French tourists during the summer as well as for its history of sardine production. While the Quiberon harbor rests in a small sheltered bay, on the western coast facing the Atlantic extends the "CΓ΄te Sauvage" - Wild Coast with a stretch of jumbled rocks sculpted by the sea and winds, ideally suited for long or short walks - and photography.

If you have the opportunity don't miss St Michel.

Beautiful aerial shot of the Mount! - Don't forget, I am finally now posting pictures of a trip I did almost 4 years ago, so yes, I have visited Mont Saint Michel, and we will be arriving there in my presentation in about 2+ weeks time! Enjoy!

Yes, Quiberon is a lovely place - and the French definitely have a knack at displaying fish in an attractive way - have seen it many times in Paris as well.

Thank you DJphoto for visiting this post and taking the time to comment. Quiberon is really quite a nice place that we enjoyed on this tour. Did you notice that I was posting a whole series of posts on Brittany and Normandy - the series will end tomorrow. If you haven't had a chance yet, and like this area, you might want to catch up with the series.

Have a great day.
